John-Michael Triana

John-Michael hails from the bucolic, blue ridge mountains of central Virginia, USA, where he studied experimental film under renowned filmmaker Kevin Everson at the University of Virginia. Shortly after he began directing fashion films in New York City for brands like David Yurman, VOGUE, Calvin Klein, COACH, Banana Republic, Carrera Eyewear, and 7 For All Mankind. He relocated to LA to pursue narrative film making and has directed commercial content for Inbev, Alantico Rum, Lenovo, NIKE, and Hautelook. John-Michael has developed a distinct style that blends his roots in experimental film with his interests in existentialism to create a cinematic visual experience. His work also attempts to explore the relationship between the subjective and the objective, as he attempts to meld their differing point-of-view into one vision.
